I'M ENGAGED!!!

So this weekend, specifically on October 29, 2010, my wonderful, amazing, handsome, charming, PERFECT boyfriend Broc became my fiance when he popped the question :) it was absolutly amazing, the ring he got for me is simple, but gorgeous and glamorous! I am going to marry this boy on May 27th 2011, and it couldn't happen soon enough haha!

So the proposal story, he just got down on one knee, pulled out the ring, and asked! He kissed my hand right after he slid the ring on my finger and it was so cute, I started to cry haha!

THE MANY MEALS.....

Almost every weekend I go home and up to Ogden to hang out with my wonderful boyfriend, Broc Cozzens. Of course, Broc and I are poor college students, so going out to dinner isn't always...well, never, an option haha. So we always end up cooking dinner at his apartment, and usually it's not even a full meal, just a bunch of our favorite foods that we cook up real fast and just chow down on. I'm not complaining about these home cooked meals at all, just mearly bragging about our super creative and tasty "meals." People think that going out on dates requires dressing up in your finest, spending money on an expensive resturaunt dinner, and going to a movie at the theatres, with a dessert afterwords. But Broc and I have redefined the word date; the classic $1 Redbox viewed on a 12 inch screen on his apartment couch and mashed potatos with some other snacks and SunnyD.....I think of it as pure poor people bliss.

The Best Siblings Ever

I just decided I need to blog a lot more, and I'm giong to talk about my two siblings, Danny and Addie Mae. They're the best siblings I could ever have! Everyone should be jealous of how amazing and cool they are, and also envy the relationship we have with each other....because it's a relationship where I practically read their minds!

Danny is my 15 year old brother and I absolutly adore him! He's tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, musically gifted like you don't even know, he's the perfect gentleman! He loves to write music, stories, and try out new things (from religion to food beliefs to lifestyles, it's awesome!) and his music blows my mind! He is a genius too! He reads so much, studies all sorts of things like religion and the world and politics, and his vocablulary is nuts! I feel stupid having conversations or arguments sometimes haha

Addie Mae is 9 and she is the light of my life! I love her to death, and she is THE BEST little sister EVER! Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky with sweet, loving siblings, especially Addie Mae. I just die when she looks at me the way she does, like everything I do is cool and perfect, like I am some sort of God. She makes me want to be a better person, because I know she watches and copies my every move. She is so talented as well! She's been in more plays in the last 3 years than I've been in my whole life haha! She can play any sport she wants, sings and dances like a princess, and is so artistic and creative it blows my mind! I'm so happy to have only 2 siblings for one haha, but to have the two I have and for having the relationships I have with each of them.

Lucky I'm in LOVE with my Best Friend

Well I haven't updated this thing in a LONG time! So much has happened since that breaking shoulder moment in my life. I'm just going to talk all about the love of my life, Broc Cozzens. We met about a year ago at PROM, we weren't each other's dates, but we were in the same group. Since then, we've been best friends and hung out a lot. One night we both just knew that we wanted to be with each other, but Broc challenged, (even mocked me!) that I didn't like him enough because I wouldn't kiss him. Well I proved that boy wrong! I grabbed his face right then and there and planted a big one! Now it's all magic and bliss :) I'm as happy as I can be, he's the best boyfriend in the world, I'm going to spend the rest of my life with him, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to a terrible night of PROM, I found the love of my life.

I Wanna Be A Photographer

Well it's been this dream of mine to always become a photographer, and wish granted, I am getting a new camera soon! My old one broke, and it was only a small digital one anyway. But this one is going to be legit! It's going to be....more than a small digital camera hahaha. I am SO excited! I'll post of few of my photos (before the camera) and when I get the new one, more pictures will be posted!

The Shoulder

So on August 28th 2010 I had a tragic accident! I fractured my Left Acromion tubing at Flaming Gorge with an array of people (bad idea to begin with haha). So we were behind my dad's boat (we being me and Sammie Murray on one tube, Jacque and Jana Wall on another tube, and my brother Danny on his own tube) when we hit this huge wave, causing Jana to fly off her tube and slam right into my poor left shoulder. I was in the water SCREAMING for Sammie to hold me so I'd stop freaking out, because I was in so much pain, and also trying to make sure Jana was okay hahaha. Well now I am in a brace with about a month recovery and I can't lift my arm at all. But at least that's the worst that happened and no one else was injured

Sunny D

So yesterday, June 9th 2010, I sadly had to put my dog, Sunny D, to sleep. He was 10 years old, and suffering from spinal problems, along with other complications that any old, fat, golden retriever would have. It was a hard thing to do, but my family and I knew it was in his best interest. He was the best dog ever; didn't bite, wouldn't hurt a soul, barely barked, new at least 10 tricks and would learn new ones weekly (he was so smart!), and had the sweetest personality you could ask for in a dog. He is going to be missed for the rest of my life, and he's the best dog I will ever have. LOVE YOU SUN-DEE!
